ST. LANDRY PARISH, La. (KADN) — The St. Landry Parish School Board reported a section of Highway 10 between Vidrine's Furniture Store in Washington and North Central High School in Lebeau has collapsed and is impassable.
Officials said drivers trying to travel between Washington and Lebeau will need to use other routes because of the sinkhole.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) recommends using US 71 to US 190 to I-49 to get around the closure.
