2 men wanted for shooting death of Carencro High student

LAFAYETTE PARISH, La. (KADN) — Deputies with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office are asking for the public's help to find two men wanted in the killing of a Carencro High student who was shot as he was getting off a school bus.

Deputies are looking for Da’Marion Roy, 19, and Todd Arceneaux Jr., 20.

They added Roy and Arceneaux are wanted for second-degree murder in the shooting in the 200 block of Bradford Drive in Lafayette Parish on Friday, March 1, that claimed the life of Jaylin Joiner, 18. Roy and Arceneaux are not students at the school.

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office arrested Malikai Doucet, 19, on a charge of second-degree murder in connection with the deadly shooting. His bond is set at $350,000. Doucet is also not a student at the school.
